TVRI
Televisi sebagai alat komunikasi bergambar, merupakan alat yang efektif bagi penyebaran informasi kepada publik. TVRI yang diresmikan tanggal 24 Agustus 1962 pada tahun 2004 telah berusia 42 tahun, merupakan penyedia informasi gambar dan suara yang tertua di Indonesia.
Persaingan di bidang industri penyiaran televisi semakin kompetitif. Sejalan dengan perkembangan ilmu teknologi dan regulasi dibidang penyiaran.
Pertumbuhan industri penyiaran televisi swasta di Indonesia dimulai tahun 1990, dan terus berkembang setelah Indonesia memasuki era reformasi, pertumbuhan lembaga-lembaga penyiaran swasta ini tentunya harus dihadapi dan di antisipasi oleh semua insan TVRI. Pola kerja yang efesien dan efektif di beberapa lembaga penyiaran swasta merupakan unsur yang dapat dijadikan motivasi dan pembanding untuk terus mengembangkan TVRI. Analisa SWOT (Kekuatan, Kelemahan, peluang dan tantangan ) yang telah dilakukan TVRI merupakan modal dasar yang dipahami dapat dijadikan motivasi dalam rangka pencapai tujuan.
Visi TVRI “Unggul dalam industri penyiaran di Indonesia” merupakan cita-cita yang relevan bagi stasiun penyiaran televisi tertua di Indonesia. Perumusan Misi TVRI yang mencerminkan “future” dapat dijadikan dasar pelaksanaanya. Berhasil tidaknya itu semua tergantung kepada kesiapan manusianya.
UU No 32 Tahun 2002 tentang penyiaran, perkembangan lembaga penyiaran republic, dan perubahan status TVRI merupakan alasan mengapa perkembangan organisasi, perubahan berencana, efektivitas kerja serta rancangan rencana kerja yang mengedepankan aspek transparasi merupakan hal yang utama dalam usaha menjawab tantangan kedepan.

SMS
SMS (Short Message Service) atau layanan pesan singkat mempunyai sejarah tersendiri sebagai media layanan yang paling meledak abad ini. Awalnya SMS berfungsi untuk memberikan layanan pengiriman pesan teks singkat antar handphone (telepon genggam/ telepon bergerak).
SMS sebetulnya hanya layanan tambahan terhadap layanan utama (layanan voice dan layanan switched data) dalam jaringan komunikasi GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) mula-mula diperkenalkan tahun 1990. SMS dikembangkan dan distandarisasikan oleh ETSI (European Telecommunication and Standard Institute) sebuah lembaga telekomunikasi Eropa pada tahun 1991. SMS memungkinkan seorang pengguna mengirimkan pesan terdiri dari 160 karakter (7-bit encoding) atau 140 karakter (8-bit encoding). SMS dapat dikirimkan menggunakan text mode atau PDU (Protocol Data Unit).
SMS dengan text-mode adalah yang paling sederhana tetapi tidak dapat membawa attachment berwujud gambar ataupun ringtone. Pada PDU-mode, SMS tersusun atas of hexadecimal octets (8-bit units) yang menyusun 160 karakter pada penyandian ASCII 7-bit atau 140 octets. Pada format PDU, Service Center Address sebanyak 1-12 oktet, sebuah octet yang merepresentasikan tipe PDU, dan sebuah octet mewakili User Data Length juga dispesifikasikan, disamping informasi lainnya.
Bentuk umum yang paling banyak dipakai untuk SMS adalah PDU SMS Deliver dan PDU SMS Submit. Format untuk SMS Deliver dan SMS Submit digambarkan berturut-turut pada Gambar II.1 dan Gambar II.2. SMS yang diterima (pada handphone penerima) akan memiliki format SMS Deliver. Sedang SMS yang ditulis atau akan dikirimkan (handphone pengirim) akan memiliki format SMS Submit. Proses penerimaan dan pengiriman SMS ini tidak hanya melibatkan interaksi perangkat lunak (software) saja tetapi juga interaksi perangkat keras (Hardware) yang kompleks di dalam handphone. Piranti yang saat ini banyak digunakan sebagai inti pengendali kerja kedua perangkat di atas adalah mikrokontroler.
Berdasarkan mekanisme distribusi SMS oleh aplikasi berbasis SMS, terdapat empat macam mekanisme penghantaran pesan, yaitu :
1. Pull, yaitu pesan yang dikirimkan ke pengguna berdasarkan permintaan pengguna.
2. Push Event Based, yaitu pesan yang diaktivasi oleh aplikasi berdasarkan kejadian yang berlangsung.
3. Push Sceduled, yaitu pesan yang diaktivasi oleh aplikasi berdasarkan waktu yang telah terjadwal.
4. Push Personal Profile, yaitu pesan yang diaktivasi oleh aplikasi berdasarkan profil dan preference dari pengguna.
SMS adalah suatu sistem store-and-forward. SMS tidak dikirimkan langsung dari handphone pengirim ke handphone penerima tetapi dikirimkan dulu ke SMS-Center. Ini megakibatkan layanan SMS tidak bersifat real-time. Ketika jaringan GSM sedang sibuk (misalnya malam Minggu, atau pada hari-hari Besar), biasanya SMS akan terlambat terkirimkan ke handphone, atau bahkan pengirim tidak dapat mengirim SMS.

SMS Gateway
SMS Gateway adalah suatu perangkat untuk mendukung pembacaan teks SMS dari handphone supaya dapat dimengerti oleh Personal Computer (PC).
SMS Gateway memiliki fasilitas cukup lengkap yang mempunyai cara dalam proses pengiriman pesan. SMS Gateway menghubungkan PC ke perangkat GSM (handphone) melalui kabel data.
Kabel data dihubungkan ke port COM, melalui koneksi tersebut semua SMS (pesan) yang terkirim ke handphone dilihat di Personal Computer (PC). I have just heard from one of the programmers of the phone that Tetris
was in the phone during development, but it was removed before it was produced.
Apparantly someone has the patent on games in mobile phones and Siemens
didn’t want to pay the licensing fees. It was either in Menu F-9-9 or it’s not there at all.

ribu. Namun sayang HP ini hanya bisa dimasukin nomor esia saja, kalo nomor
operator cdma yang lainnya gak mempan, alias gak jalan.
Tadi pagi iseng-iseng jari jalan supaya HP ini bisa mengenali kartu operator
lainnya alias Un-Lock lah istilah kerennya. Wow gak disangka-sangak banyak
sekali di internet informasi tuk meng un-lock HP ini. Dari mulai hanya pencetpencet
tombol sampai dengan menggunakan software dan tetek mengeknya ada.
Dari sekian banyak cara yang saya baca berikut ini saya berikan rangkuman tuk
meng un-lock HP ini, cara yang saya tulis disini saya ambil yang paling gampang
dilakukan oleh siapapun dimanapun, dan tak memmerlukan peralatan satau software lainnya.
Meng Un-lock dengan menekan kode-kode tertentu dijamin praktis dan gak mahal, berikut ini caracaranya.
langkah-langkahnya:
1. Masukan kartu CDMA selain esia (pilih yang pake 800Mhz)
2. Lihat tampilan apakah tulisannya “silakan masukan SID yang valid” baru kita lanjutkan langkah
selanjutnya.
3. Tekan SOS atau tombol darurat
4. Tekan kode ##412365 diikuti tekan tombol Ok atau Call
5. Pilih no2 (system test)
6. Pilih no5 (Nam programing)
7. Kalo muncul kode SPC masukan saja angka 000000 (nol enam kali)
8. Oke-oke saja terus ampai muncul home SID ganti 5 anggka yang ada dengan anggka 00000
9. Oke-oke lagi sampai terakhir pilih Complete
10. Restrat…jadi deh
Catatan:
Unlock ini hanya bekerja untuk operator cdma yang dimasukan saat unlock saja. Tuk operator lainnya
harus di lakukan unlock lagi seperti cara-cara diatas. Unlock secara manual ini berjalan tuk versi HP 3
agustus 2007 (silahkan cek versi dari hp)
Dan berlaku untuk versi keluaran pertama, tuk keluaran yang agak baru pake software untuk unlocknya
Tapi setelah di unlock ternyata juga gak digunakan tuk pake kartu operator yang lainnya, wong dari
dulu memang pengin pake esia , itung-itung cuma iseng buat percobaan saja. :

Selain perintah ATCommand ada satu hal lagi yang harus kita ketahui pada pembuatan aplikasi ini yaitu PDU (Protocol Data Unit), PDU yaitu paket data dimana pesan SMS dikemas bersama informasi tanggal, nomor tujuan, nomor pengirim, nomor operator, jenis skema SMS, masa valid SMS dan beberapa informasi lainnya (terghantung jenis paketnya).
Setiap pengiriman SMS, baik dari HP menuju Operator atau sebaliknya, selalu menggunakan format PDU. Dan format PDU yang dibaca dari handphone dengan format PDU yang akan dikirimkan ke handphone adalah berbeda Sehingga jika kita akan mengirimkan SMS, maka kita harus Meng-convert terlebih dahulu isi SMS tersebut ke format PDU.
Begitu juga jika kita membaca sebuah isi SMS dari handphone, data yang kita terima dari handphone adalah berupa format PDU. Dan jika kita ingin mengetahui isi dari SMS tersebut kita harus meng-convert balik format PDU tersebut menjadi pesan teks/SMS.

Aplikasi Berbasis SMS
Untuk pengembangan aplikasi berbasis SMS dengan cara yang ini, perangkat yang digunakan adalah handphone GSM dengan menpergunakan kabel data.
Dibalik tampilan menu message pada sebuah handphone sebenarnya adalah AT Command dua kali yang bertugas mengirim atau menerima data dari atau ke SMS center AT Command.
Salah satu software yang dapat digunakan untuk mengecek AT Command adalah Windows HyperTerminal. HyperTerminal biasanya telah tersedia bersama Windows Installer sehingga kita hanya perlu menambahkan sotware twesebut dari Control Panel > Add/Remove Windows Components > dan seterusnya. Setelah di-Add cari iconnya pada menu Start > Programs > Accessories > Communication > HyperTerminal.
ATCommand sebenarnya hampir sama dengan perintah prompt pada DOS. Perintah-perintah yang dimasukkan keport dimulai dengan kata AT, lalu diikuti oleh karakter lainnya, yang memiliki fungsi-fungsi unik. Contoh: ATE1 digunakan untuk menanyakan status port.

Polling
Aplikasi Polling/MessageBoard (Jajak Pendapat) berfungsi untuk melakukan perhitungan suara (vote). Bersifat searah, artinya SMS yang masuk tidak akan dibalas oleh system. Secara sederhana berfungsi seperti aplikasi Vote, hanya saja SMS yang masuk bias berisi pesan yang akan disimpan oleh system.
Aplikasi ini umumnya digunakan bagi Proses Jajak Pendapat misalnya pengumpulan pendapat lewat via SMS mengenai topic Undang-Undang Baru atau topic-topik lain yang bias disiapkan. Banyak stasiun tv swasta mulai mendayagunakan aplikasi ini dalam program-program acara seperti saat ini berita untuk jajak pendapat atas suatu topic dimana hasilnya akan ditampilkan secara live/langsung.

Distance From Base Station - Place a call, when it is answered, press [MENU] until ‘Eng Field Option’ is displayed, press [OK], select ‘Active Cell’, press [OK], press [MENU] until ‘Time Adv xxx’ appears, where xxx is a number. Multiply this number by 550, and the result is the distance from the RBS (Radio Base Station), in meters.
Signal Quality - press [MENU] until ‘Eng Field Option’ is displayed, press [OK], select ‘Active Cell’, press [OK], press [MENU] until ‘C1′ appears. This is the signal quality. If it becomes negative for longer than 5 seconds, a new cell is selected.

To deactivate field test: Power phone up, hit MENU and the left button (should bring up the menu). There’s a menu option for test-mode and at this point you can turn the menu off and return the phone to normal. Uses of RBS:
Distance From Base Station - Place a call, when it is answered, press [MENU] until ‘Eng Field Option’ is displayed, press [OK], select ‘Active Cell’, press [OK], press [MENU] until ‘Time Adv xxx’ appears, where xxx is a number. Multiply this number by 550, and the result is the distance from the RBS (Radio Base Station), in meters.
Signal Quality - press [MENU] until ‘Eng Field Option’ is displayed, press [OK], select ‘Active Cell’, press [OK], press [MENU] until ‘C1′ appears. This is the signal quality. If it becomes negative for longer than 5 seconds, a new cell is selected.
